Facility:
This medical center is a Level II Trauma center providing comprehensive orthopedic services to the community. The facility features both hospital-based trauma care and outpatient clinical services with dedicated support staff and modern electronic medical record systems.
Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic
Job Details:
• Provide orthopedic surgeon coverage for 2 weeks per month at a Level II Trauma center • Cover the ER 24/7 with dedicated PA support • Conduct 3 outpatient clinic mornings each week (Monday-Friday) • Perform full spectrum of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic issues • Must have 5 years of Level II trauma experience • Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon required • Work with EPIC electronic medical record system • Position available as soon as credentialed (typically 60-90 days) • Initial duration of 6-9 months with ongoing coverage opportunities • Must be board certified in orthopedic surgery • WA state license highly preferred or IMLC with LOQ in hand • BLS and DEA certifications required (will consider candidates who will obtain once offer accepted) • Clean malpractice record highly preferred • Patient load varies from 0-7 cases per day
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
