Jefferson Medical Group is seeking an experienced Non-Operative Orthopedic Physician to join our outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine team in Bucks County, PA. This role focuses exclusively on non-surgical management of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions within a collaborative, high-volume practice.Orthopedic surgeons looking to transition into a non-operative role are also encouraged to apply.
Job Description
- MD or DO Board Certified/Eligible in Primary Care Sports Medicine or Orthopedic Surgery
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania
- 2 3 years of post-training experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in MSK ultrasound (diagnostic and therapeutic) welcomed but not required
- Strong understanding of orthopedic and MSK conditions including shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, spine, hands, and feet
- Ability to collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine providers
- Clear understanding of when to refer patients for surgical evaluation
Position Details:
- Non-operative role no surgical responsibilities
- Outpatient practice within a multispecialty JMG environment
- Ability to see 30 35 patients per day
- Treat and manage:
- Acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries
- Fractures
- Bracing and splinting needs
- Non-surgical management of common orthopedic conditions
- Opportunity to use MSK ultrasound for diagnosis and injections (optional)
- Collaborative, team-based environment with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians
