A specialty healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Orthopedic Surgeon to join one of their practices in Manhattan with travel to various offices throughout the boroughs.
About the opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: Full-time
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical interviews and physical examinations to assess patients with joint-related issues
- Review patient's medical histories and diagnostic tests to make informed decisions about treatment options
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, MRI's, and CT scans, to diagnose joint conditions and determine the extent of damage
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, considering factors like age, overall health, and lifestyle
- Educate patients about their joint conditions, treatment options, and potential outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare standards
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
