Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity
*Location: Red Wing, MN - Minneapolis 55m | Full-Time, permanent position*
Position Highlights
* Join a physician-led, multidisciplinary orthopedic surgery team providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care
* Full spectrum of general orthopedic procedures, including acute injury management, soft tissue repairs, fracture care, and total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders)
* Opportunity for academic appointment
* Collaborative work environment with experienced surgeons, PAs, nurses, radiology, rehab, pain clinic, and OR staff
* Medical Center serves as a hub with outreach to Cannon Falls, Lake City, and Zumbrota
Practice Details
* Clinic and surgical locations in Red Wing, Cannon Falls, Lake City, and surrounding sites as needed
* 4 ORs, 2 procedure rooms, and 1 C-section OR; elective cases scheduled Monday–Friday
* Single surgical team on-call for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays
* Support from dedicated primary care, sports medicine physician, orthopedic PAs, and clinic staff
* Access to advanced equipment, robotics, and implant vendors
* On-site rehabilitation services and comprehensive support from the Emergency Department for fracture/dislocation management
* Commitment to quality outcomes, including NSQIP participation and Medicare star ratings
Responsibilities
* Provide patient-centered orthopedic care across outpatient, inpatient, and procedural settings
* Participate in call coverage, including trauma and emergency cases
* Collaborate with primary care, specialty colleagues, and rehabilitation services
* Contribute to medical education through teaching of students, residents, and clinical staff
* Potential for leadership roles within the department
Qualifications
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
* Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota
* Commitment to teamwork, high-quality patient care, and collaboration across specialties
