Job description
Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon needed in Celebration, Florida. The physician will provide operative and non-operative treatment for orthopedic trauma patients at a Level II Trauma Center.
The role includes management of complex fractures, high-energy injuries, and other orthopedic trauma conditions, along with participation in trauma call and collaboration with other medical specialists.
Job Responsibilities
Perform operative and non-operative fracture care
Participate in rotating trauma call
Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma teams
Provide perioperative and postoperative care
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
Experience in a Level II Trauma Center
2+ years of post-fellowship experience in orthopedic trauma
Current, unrestricted Florida medical license
Current ATLS certification; Instructor certification preferred
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Working Hours
Rotating orthopedic trauma call
Call coverage includes nights, weekends, and holidays
