REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
  • State License: WA License Required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive surgical management of orthopedic trauma patients, including acute fracture care and post-operative follow-up.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for orthopedic trauma cases on a rotational basis.
  • Collaborate with emergency medicine, critical care, and other surgical subspecialties to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Perform surgical procedures including open reduction internal fixation (ORIF), external fixation, and arthroscopy as indicated.
  • Document clinical encounters accurately in Epic EMR and adhere to hospital protocols and quality metrics.

  • Required:
    • Arthroscopy
    • Total Joint replacement (Hip, knee, Other (excludes hip and knee))
    • Joint revision or repair (Shoulder, Hip, Hand, Tendon release/repair, Peripheral nerve surgery)
  • Preferred:
    • Knee
    • Other (excludes shoulder, hip, and knee)
    • W/ Instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
    • W/O Instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
    • Percutaneous disc surgery
