Join a well-established, physician-led orthopedic practice seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon with advanced expertise in shoulder surgery. This opportunity offers immediate patient volume through an established referral network and the chance to help expand a comprehensive shoulder program. Work alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, therapists, and dedicated clinical support staff in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Perform advanced arthroscopic shoulder procedures.
Perform Total Shoulder Arthroplasty and Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty.
Treat rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, fractures, and other complex shoulder disorders.
Develop individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans.
Collaborate with physician assistants, therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Educate patients on treatment options, recovery expectations, and rehabilitation.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Help grow and expand the shoulder and sports medicine program.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
Demonstrated experience with shoulder arthroscopy and shoulder reconstruction.
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Connecticut.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
