Start Date: July 2026 / ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Full-Time
- 2 clinic days per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch)
- 2 OR days per week (starting at 7:30 AM)
- OR days currently Monday & Friday (flexible for the right candidate)
Call Required: Yes
Call Details
- Weekend Call: 1:7 rotation (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Weeknight Call: Shared with 6 surg (some weeks none, some weeks 1 night)
- Call includes ER phone consults and required inpatient rounding within 24 hours of admission
Clinical Details
- Setting: Level II Trauma Center (45 minutes outside downtown Chicago)
- Patient Volume:
- Clinic: 25–30 patients per day
- Surgery: 8–10 cases per week
- Case Mix: Sports Medicine – ACL/MCL/PCL, knee/ligament, meniscus, multi-ligament procedures
- Required Experience: Hip arthroscopy and multi-ligament procedures
- EMR: Epic
Support & Team Structure
- 6 Orthopedic Surg (11 total physician providers)
- APP support (PAs/NPs) for post-ops and first assist in OR
- APPs assist with call coverage and ER communications
