Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Opportunity
Located in Albany, NY – New York's Capital Region
Full-time, permanent position
Position Overview
Orthopedic Spine Surgery opportunity within a newly established, hospital-employed Orthopedic Surgery group
Join as one of the founding surgeons and help develop a comprehensive Spine Surgery program
Focus on degenerative, traumatic, and complex spinal conditions
Perform surgical procedures at two hospitals in Albany and Troy, NY
Established referral network providing strong patient volume
Opportunity to shape and expand a new orthopedic and spine service line
Collaborative, physician-focused environment with an emphasis on work-life balance
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Spine Surgery required
5–10 years of post-training experience preferred
Strong clinical and surgical experience in:
- Spinal decompression
- Spinal fusion
- Minimally invasive spine procedures
Commitment to patient-centered, multidisciplinary care

Compensation & Benefits
3-year guaranteed compensation: $825,000–$875,000 for experienced surgeons
Additional productivity, quality, and performance incentives may apply
$25,000 starting bonus
