Orthopedic Spine Surgery Opportunity in Joplin, MO / Galena, KS
Position Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join a well-established and growing orthopedic team across two nearby campuses. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a highly collaborative, physician-led environment with access to advanced surgical technology and a dedicated orthopedic hospital.
Practice Details:
Full-time employed position
Join an established team of 10 orthopedic surgeons
Work alongside 1 additional Spine Surgeon
APP support available after ramp-up
Call rotation 1:8 with orthopedic trauma support during weekdays
Practice across two campuses located approximately 15 minutes apart
Dedicated orthopedic hospital and surgery center
System-wide Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of orthopedic spine procedures
Provide comprehensive preoperative, operative, and postoperative care
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, hospitalists, and intensivists
Participate in call rotation and surgical coverage
Contribute to a high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic program

Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Spine Surgery
Eligible for Missouri and/or Kansas medical license and DEA registration
Strong surgical and clinical expertise
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
