Position Details: Full-time, permanent position Employed Seeking Board Certified Orthopedic Hand Surgery About Medical Center: Medical center is the largest trauma center in South Carolina. The hospital also is a comprehensive stroke center with endovascular and neurology support. There is in-house critical care, trauma surgery, a newly opened neurosciences ICU, and a dedicated neurosurgery OR team. The hospital has a very collegial medical staff and a supportive administration Medical center is a 369-bed tertiary referral center in Myrtle Beach, SC, and is the largest and most clinically advanced hospital in the area. It is the only hospital in the region to offer such specialized services as an ACS verified Level I Adult Trauma Center and DHEC approved Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric intensive care and three emergency departments staffed with residency trained emergency medicine physicians. The medical center has earned a reputation as the hospital of choice for residents and visitors.
