Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship trained Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon to join a well established and rapidly growing orthopedic group in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a high volume, trauma focused opportunity within a thriving practice offering strong clinical and administrative support, surgical access across multiple facilities, and a clear path to partnership with ownership potential in a partner owned ambulatory surgery center.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Hand and Upper Extremity orthopedic care with a strong emphasis on trauma based cases
Manage fracture care and perform select soft tissue procedures
Participate in shared call rotation of approximately 1 in 6
Perform surgeries at affiliated hospital systems and a partner owned ASC
Collaborate closely with orthopedic colleagues, clinical staff, and administration to ensure high quality patient care
Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedics required
Demonstrated experience managing trauma and fracture cases
Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one
United States citizenship or permanent residency required
Strong commitment to patient centered, team based care

Working Hours

Monday through Friday schedule
Shared call rotation approximately 1 in 6
Operating room and clinic time within established practice sites

Skills

Strong surgical and clinical decision making skills
Expertise in trauma and fracture management
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a high volume orthopedic practice
Strong organizational and documentation skills
