Idaho Orthopedic Hand Surgery Opportunity | Established Team & Northwest Lifestyle
- An established regional medical center is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join a well-respected and growing orthopedic team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a balanced practice with strong institutional support, modern facilities, and a high quality of life in the Pacific Northwest.
Position Highlights
- Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
- Schedule: 36 patient care hours + 4 administrative hours
- Clinic: 2–3 days per week
- OR: 2 days per week
- Call: ~10 days of general orthopedic call (additional incentives available for extra call)
- Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of an accredited Hand Surgery Fellowship
- Eligible for Idaho medical licensure and DEA
- Prior experience strongly preferred
- Program & Hospital Distinctions
- Level III Trauma Center with a broad referral base
- Rated “A” for Hospital Safety by The Leapfrog Group (multiple cycles)
- Named to Becker’s “Great Community Hospitals” (2025)
- Recognized by U.S. News & World Report for excellence in maternity care
- Recipient of the ACC Platinum Performance Achievement Award (Chest Pain–MI Registry)
- Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care, Knee & Hip Replacement, and Spine Surgery
Compensation & Benefits
- MGMA 50th–75th percentile base salary plus wRVU production incentive
- $50,000 sign-on bonus
