Idaho Orthopedic Hand Surgery Opportunity | Established Team & Northwest Lifestyle

  • An established regional medical center is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join a well-respected and growing orthopedic team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a balanced practice with strong institutional support, modern facilities, and a high quality of life in the Pacific Northwest.

Position Highlights

  • Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
  • Schedule: 36 patient care hours + 4 administrative hours
  • Clinic: 2–3 days per week
  • OR: 2 days per week
  • Call: ~10 days of general orthopedic call (additional incentives available for extra call)
  • Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Completion of an accredited Hand Surgery Fellowship
  • Eligible for Idaho medical licensure and DEA
  • Prior experience strongly preferred
  • Program & Hospital Distinctions
  • Level III Trauma Center with a broad referral base
  • Rated “A” for Hospital Safety by The Leapfrog Group (multiple cycles)
  • Named to Becker’s “Great Community Hospitals” (2025)
  • Recognized by U.S. News & World Report for excellence in maternity care
  • Recipient of the ACC Platinum Performance Achievement Award (Chest Pain–MI Registry)
  • Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care, Knee & Hip Replacement, and Spine Surgery

Compensation & Benefits

  • MGMA 50th–75th percentile base salary plus wRVU production incentive
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus
