Job Responsibilities

• Clinical Focus: The ideal candidate will be proficient in treating conditions related to hand and shoulder in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Teaching Opportunities: Engage in orthopaedic resident and hand fellow teaching, as well as participate in clinical and laboratory research.
• Collaboration: Join a team of 10 hand partners, 3 hand fellows, and a total of 90 faculty in the Department, ensuring seamless referrals and collaboration.
• Call Expectations: Call duties include general orthopaedic call 4-6 days per month.
• Support: Benefit from the support of 3 advanced practice providers (APP) and clinical support.

Qualifications

• Certification: Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity (wrist to shoulder).
• License: Eligible for NC Medical License.
