Employed Hip & Joint Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity
A leading healthcare system in South Texas is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hip & Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established, multidisciplinary orthopedic group. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced providers in General, Hand, Trauma, and Sports Medicine while enjoying a supportive, resource-rich environment.
Position Highlights:
- Clinic located in a professional building connected to the hospital, walking distance to OR
- Flexible schedule: 2–3 clinic days per week with OR block times, adjustable as needed
- Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Estimated patient mix: 70% inpatient / 30% outpatient
- Call: approximately 3–5 days per month, including general orthopedic call
- Dedicated orthopedic/trauma floor with trauma coverage provided by in-house trauma provider
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training or extensive experience in Hip & Joint Replacement preferred
- Trauma certification is a plus
