Wellstar Health System – New Hospital | Columbia County, GA
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Total Joint Replacement to join our growing musculoskeletal service line at our brand-new hospital in Columbia County, Georgia. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a high-quality total joints program from the ground up within one of Georgia’s most respected integrated health systems.

Responsibilities
-
Perform high-quality primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty
-
Participate in the development and growth of the total joints service line
-
Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, physical therapy, and care coordination teams to optimize patient outcomes

Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care

Participate in call coverage as assigned

Maintain high standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction

Engage in quality improvement initiatives and service line development
Qualifications
-
MD or DO
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
-
Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joints preferred
-
Eligible for or currently licensed to practice in the state of Georgia
-
Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
-
Interest in program building and long-term community engagement
