Pediatric Dentist Opening in Yuba City, CA
Overview
A community health center in Northern California is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive outpatient dental care for children, including patients with special needs. Full time or part time schedules are available.

Full time or part time
Preventive, operative, sedation, periodontal, pulp, oral surgery and orthodontic care for pediatric patients
Use of local anesthesia, nitrous oxide or sedation for anxious patients
Emergency care including trauma, pain, infection and walk in patients
Work with a care team of dental assistants and coordinate with medical providers
Participation in quality improvement, community outreach and teaching of health profession students
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an ADA accredited dental program
Completed approved pediatric dental residency
Current, unrestricted California dental license, or an unrestricted out of state license with California licensure within one year of hire
Current DEA certification
BLS and PALS certification
Valid driver's license, as travel is required
Preferred: board certification in pediatric dentistry, a public health orientation and a commitment to serving underserved populations
