Dentist Opportunity
* Located in Virginia, IL - Springfield 30m
* Full-time or part-time, permanent position
Position Overview
* Community health center dental opportunity
* Full-time or part-time scheduling available
* Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
* Provide comprehensive, patient-centered oral healthcare
* Focus on prevention, patient education, access to care, and reducing oral health disparities
* Work as part of an integrated care team supporting whole-person care
Qualifications
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
* Current Illinois dental license in good standing
* Current Illinois controlled substance license
* Current DEA registration
* Current CPR/BLS certification
* Current driver's license and valid automobile insurance
* Commitment to health equity, cultural humility, and patient-centered care
Practice Highlights
* Comprehensive dental services including examinations, cleanings, restorative procedures, extractions, and emergency treatment
* Diagnose dental and oral conditions using X-rays and intraoral examinations
* Develop individualized patient treatment plans
* Provide preventive care and oral hygiene education
* Integrated community health center setting with collaboration between dental and medical care teams
* Work alongside dental hygienists, dental assistants, and clinical support staff
* Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation
* Emphasis on trauma-informed and culturally competent care
* No formal supervisory responsibilities
* Monday–Thursday schedule provides a 4-day work week
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary range: $180,000–$200,000, based on experience
* $10,000 sign-on bonus or relocation assistance
* Relocation assistance: $10,000 for out-of-state relocation or $5,000 for in-state relocation
