We are seeking a high producing, "hungry", and hardworking OMS to join a flagship private practice in the Valley of Texas. Learn from a Readers Choice "Oral Surgeon of the Year", Texas Monthly "Super Dentist of the Year" and AGD Nominee Texas Dentist of the Year. The Board-Certified Surgeon is looking for an associate who will come in, work hard and seek partnership in this elite practice that produces at high volume! The last associate OMS to join earned over up to $490000 in their first year and was a medium producer.

Job Responsibilities
•Perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgeries such as dental extractions, including impacted teeth, cyst removals, and corrective jaw surgeries.
•Manage complex procedures involving facial trauma reconstruction, dental implant placement, and pathology excisions.
•Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to develop integrated treatment plans.
•Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all surgical procedures.
•Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques for diagnosis and surgical planning.
•Educate patients regarding preoperative preparations, postoperative care, and expected outcomes to promote optimal recovery.
•Employ four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
•Stay current with developments in oral surgery practices, technology, and medical terminology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
•Valid license to practice dentistry with specialized certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
•Proven experience in oral surgery procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and prosthodontics integration.
•Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for clinical documentation.
•Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral surgery procedures.
•Familiarity with medical imaging modalities used in diagnosis and treatment planning.
•Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
•Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
•Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry.
