Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including:
  • Tooth extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth)
  • Dental implants
  • Bone grafting and ridge augmentation
  • Treatment of oral pathology
  • Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans
  • Educate patients on procedures, risks, and post-operative care
  • Collaborate closely with general dentists and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to best practices

Qualifications

  1. DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  2. Completion of an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program
  3. Active Ohio dental license (or eligibility to obtain)
  4. Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
  5. Excellent communication and patient-care skills
