TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to join an established, busy private ophthalmology practice in Columbus, Nebraska. This opportunity offers a strong existing patient base, advanced surgical technology, a collaborative team, and the potential for future practice buy-in.
Position Details
Job Type: Permanent

Setting: Private Practice
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Call: 1:2 rotation; very minimal call
Patient Volume: Approximately 400 physician patients per month

Established practice with two ophthalmologists and six optometrists

Surgeries performed at an attached, state-of-the-art surgery center

Clinical Services & Technology
The practice provides comprehensive ophthalmology services, with particular opportunities in cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive correction.
Available services and technology include:
Cataract surgery with LenSx Femtosecond Laser and ORA System
Advanced intraocular lens implantation, including toric and multifocal lenses
PRK and LASIK using WaveScan WaveFront, IntraLase iFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser, and Star S4 IR Excimer Laser
Minimally invasive glaucoma procedures, including iStent, Kahook Dual Blade, and Xen implant
Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT)
Macular degeneration and diabetic-related injections using available therapies
Vision correction, ocular disease treatment, and contact lens services
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology
Interest in cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive correction
Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary of $415,000 with first-year salary guarantee
$40,000 sign-on bonus
Relocation assistance up to $10,000
CME allowance up to $10,000
