Seeking a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist for an ongoing outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Michigan.
Position Highlights
- Ongoing assignment with ASAP start
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Outpatient practice setting
- No call required
- Epic EMR
- Average 20 patients per day
- Preferred schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Requirements
- Board Certified Ophthalmologist
- Active Michigan license or IMLC eligibility
- BLS certification
- Hospital/surgery center privileges required
- Ability to work in a busy, high-volume practice
Responsibilities
- General ophthalmology clinic and surgical procedures
- Cataract surgery required
- Intravitreal injections required
- Follow-up and postoperative care
- Expected productivity of 4+ clinic patients per hour
- Perform approximately 12-14 procedures/surgeries per day
