We are seeking a Chinese/English bilingual Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive ophthalmic care to patients in Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys working with a diverse patient population and can communicate effectively with both English- and Chinese-speaking patients.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of ophthalmic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform appropriate ophthalmic procedures within the physician’s scope of practice.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive eye care.
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians and other specialists as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate care to Chinese-speaking patients.
• Work across both Brooklyn and Manhattan locations.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English – required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in both Brooklyn and Manhattan.
