Client is seeking a highly skilled Refractive Surgeon to join our growing surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ophthalmologist with strong experience in laser vision correction and refractive cataract surgery who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a high-volume, technology-forward environment.
Surgeons with expertise or a strong interest in advanced refractive technologies, premium IOLs, and emerging vision-correction techniques will thrive within our multispecialty ophthalmology practice.
As a Refractive Surgeon at Client, you will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care while performing a broad range of cataract and refractive procedures based on your training and expertise.

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive ophthalmic evaluation and care.
Perform cataract and refractive procedures, including LASIK, PRK, SMILE, and ICL, based on training and experience.
Perform refractive cataract surgery and utilize premium IOL technologies when appropriate.
Evaluate patients and develop individualized surgical and treatment plans.
Manage patients throughout the preoperative and postoperative process.
Monitor surgical outcomes and provide high-quality postoperative care.
Collaborate closely with optometrists, technicians, nurses, and other clinical team members.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the EMR.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, expectations, risks, and outcomes.
Stay current with advances in refractive surgery, cataract technology, and vision-correction techniques.
Qualifications
MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency.
Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology.
Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong clinical and surgical skills.
Experience in refractive surgery and/or refractive cataract surgery strongly preferred.
Experience with advanced refractive technologies and premium IOLs is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
