A high-performing ophthalmology practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to join its growing surgical team as part of a retirement backfill opportunity.
This role provides immediate access to a well-established patient base, strong referral network, and high surgical volume, including cataract, premium IOL conversions, and LASIK procedures.
The practice operates in a modern, high-efficiency environment with an on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and is currently expanding surgical capacity with additional operating room infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon seeking volume, autonomy, and long-term growth potential.
Job Responsibilities
Perform high-volume cataract surgery and related procedures
Manage refractive procedures including premium IOL and LASIK cases
Conduct full clinical evaluations and pre/post-operative care
Participate in collaborative MD/OD practice model
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
Contribute to efficient patient flow and surgical scheduling
Support continued growth of surgical service lines
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
Completion of ophthalmology residency required
Strong cataract surgical experience preferred
Ability to manage high patient and surgical volume
Active or eligible state medical license
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
