A highly productive retina practice is seeking a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join an established, high-volume surgical environment due to upcoming retirement. The practice has a strong referral base, experienced support staff, and a well-established patient pipeline.
This is a rare opportunity to step directly into an active retina surgical volume with immediate clinical and operative demand.
Job Responsibilities
Manage high-volume retina clinic (macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular disease)
Perform laser and surgical retina procedures (including vitrectomy)
Collaborate with experienced ophthalmic support staff
Maintain high surgical productivity in an established referral network
Participate in ongoing clinical care across multiple office locations
Qualifications
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery required
Eligible for medical licensure in applicable state(s)
Demonstrated experience in high-volume retina surgery preferred
Working Hours
Monday–Friday
Mix of clinic and surgical days
No required hospital call (if applicable—otherwise omit)
