Job description
A high-performing ophthalmology practice is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist (Cataract ± Subspecialty) to step into an established role due to a planned retirement. This opportunity offers immediate access to a robust patient base and strong surgical volume within a collaborative MD/OD model.
The practice features an on-site ASC and is actively expanding surgical capacity with an additional operating room. Physicians benefit from a high-volume environment, strong referral network, and a clear pathway to leadership and potential partnership.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct cataract surgeries and manage surgical cases
Utilize advanced techniques including premium IOLs and refractive procedures
Manage high patient volume in both clinic and surgical settings
Collaborate with optometrists and clinical staff for continuity of care
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical best practices
Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology
Completed accredited ophthalmology residency
Eligible for state medical licensure
Cataract surgery experience required
Comfortable with high patient volume (30–50/day)
