Position Overview:
Represented by Nortek Medical Staffing, Inc.
We are seeking a Medical/Surgical Retina specialist to join an established, high-performing MD/OD practice in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. This is a backfill opportunity tied to a highly productive provider, offering immediate access to a large, established patient base and strong procedural volume.
Compensation:
• $400K+ base salary
• Additional earning potential tied to productivity
Practice Highlights:
• $7M+ in annual collections generated by previous provider
• 27,000+ clinical visits and 700+ surgical procedures annually
• Surgical volume primarily focused on laser procedures
• Two ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs)
• Established MD/OD collaborative care model
• Mentorship available for continued professional development
Job Responsibilities
• Perform laser-based and other retina procedures within ASC settings
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage retinal conditions
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate within an MD/OD model for co-managed patients
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
• Fellowship training in Medical/Surgical Retina required
• Experience with laser procedures and retina-focused care
• Ability to work in a high-volume, team-based environment
• Active or eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
