A well-established ophthalmology practice in the Philadelphia market is seeking a Comprehensive Cataract Surgeon to join its high-performing clinical team.

This opportunity is driven by an upcoming retirement and offers immediate access to a high-volume surgical practice, with strong infrastructure and mentorship available. The practice operates within a collaborative MD/OD model and maintains a strong referral network.

Work Schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume cataract surgeries
  • Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic evaluations
  • Manage pre- and post-operative care
  • Educate patients on surgical options and premium IOLs
  • Collaborate with optometrists and clinical staff
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Active or eligible Pennsylvania medical license
  • Strong cataract surgical experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in cataract surgery and anterior segment care
  • Experience with premium IOLs preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent patient communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows
