Vitreoretinal Surgery Physician Opening in Baltimore, MD
Location: Baltimore, MD – Major metropolitan area access

Position Overview
Seeking a Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join an established ophthalmology practice with a strong focus on clinical care and resident education. The role includes:
* Outpatient clinical work with surgical block time
* Mentorship and teaching of ophthalmology residents (10% of time)
* Administrative involvement and creation of lectures for residents
* Management of a diverse patient population with a manageable patient load (~15 patients per session)
* Collaboration with sub-specialties to streamline patient care
* Infrequent night and weekend call (~6 weeks/year)
Qualifications / Candidate Requirements
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology
* Completion of a Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship
* Ability to obtain Maryland medical license, DEA, CDS license, BLS and ACLS certifications
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits
* Base salary: $425,000–$500,000 with RVU bonus
