This hospital is a leading pediatric healthcare facility offering comprehensive ophthalmology services. The facility features a 4-bed department and is designated as a Level 1 Pediatric center, providing high-quality, specialized care for children with complex eye conditions.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics - Ophthalmology
Job Details:
• Full-time locum position with approximately 25 patient encounters per shift
• Clinic 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) from 8am-4pm with 30-45 minute unpaid lunch
• Rounding 1 day per week in NICU (flexible 8am-12pm) plus on-call Wednesday with sign-off on orthoptics charts
• OR 1 day per week (Friday) from 7am-2pm
• Must be able to perform strabismus procedures - this is a critical requirement
• Board certification required with appropriate fellowship training
• Provider must reach out for approval before working overtime
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
• Fellowship requirement: 3 years
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
