This established clinic provides comprehensive ophthalmology services to the community with dedicated eye lanes and modern equipment. The facility is part of a respected healthcare network in Michigan's Upper Peninsula region, offering quality eye care in a supportive environment with a trauma level 4 designation.
Opportunity:
Physician - Ophthalmology
Job Details:
• Preferred coverage up to 6 months of availability
• Schedule preference of 2 weeks per month
• Minimum 1 surgical day per week with additional clinic days
• Michigan medical license required (IMLC not accepted)
• 90-day credentialing timeframe
• Required skills include cataract removal with phacoemulsification
• Must perform intra-ocular injections
• Experience with non-surgical, surgical/invasive, and laser procedures required
• Preferred skills include anterior and posterior segment laser procedures, YAG laser, extracapsular and intracapsular extraction, intraocular lens implant
• Experience with glaucoma, corneal procedures, and keratectomy preferred
• Ultrasound interpretation (A and B-Scan), photos interpretation, and optical coherence tomography interpretation preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
