Located in Fergus Falls, MN; 60m from Fargo, ND; 200m from Minneapolis

Permanent Position
Seeking a full-time surgical Ophthalmologist to join our established team of eye providers in west central Minnesota
This is an excellent opportunity to join two other part-time ophthalmologists including one neuro-ophthalmologist, and three optometrists.
The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to manage their patient volume, with the option for a very high-volume practice if desired.
This is an excellent opportunity to maintain a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no call requirements.
The Eye Clinic offers an extensive array of optometry & ophthalmology services.
State-of-the-art technology and the ability to treat most eye conditions, and we work closely with the 20/20 Optical staff to fit you with the glasses, contact lenses and low vision aids you need to see clearly.

- Diagnostics & Imaging
- Visual field testing, A-scan, IOL master, auto refraction
- Fundus photography, optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Keratometry, corneal topography, pachymetry
- Indirect ophthalmoscopy, neuro-ophthalmic exams
- Eye Conditions & Treatments
- Cataract surgery, toric & multifocal lenses
- Glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye care
- Dry eye, floaters & flashers, corneal disease
- Procedures & Devices
- Argon & SLT lasers, contact tonometry
- Scraping, smears, cultures
- Pediatric Eye Care
- Amblyopia, strabismus, ptosis, routine eye exams
- Cosmetic & Reconstructive
- Blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, eyelid disorders
- Examinations & Certifications
- FAA flight exams, disability & workers' comp evaluations
Compensation
Full benefits include: health, dental, vision, life insurance, group health insurance, disability insurance (short and long term), & malpractice insurance
6 weeks paid time off
Guaranteed salary for the first 2 years of employment with the opportunity for additional compensation based on production hours worked
Generous sign-on bonus, relocation reimbursement, and paid professional dues
Profit-sharing & cash balance plan
Annual employer contribution of 10% of wages towards 401K plan (100% vested without employee contribution requirements)
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited residency required.
Board certification highly preferred; board eligibility required
Active Minnesota Medical License & DEA upon hire
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
