Seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea and External Disease to join growing program in Greenville, NC. This is a unique opportunity to join a tertiary referral center with a large population of complex anterior segment and corneal pathology cases.
Position Highlights:
Full-time, outpatient-based opportunity
Fellowship training in Cornea/External Disease required
Academic appointment available at East Carolina University (Assistant/Associate Professor)
State-of-the-art outpatient clinic located near the main hospital
Large established referral base including local optometrists and ophthalmologists
Responsibilities include clinical practice, trainee education, and rotating call coverage
Opportunities for clinical research
Requirements:
US residency and fellowship training required
Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
Interest in academic medicine and program development preferred
