We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Ophthalmologist to join a growing Division of Ophthalmology and Optometry within a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with outpatient clinic responsibilities and potential surgery center involvement.
Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required. H1B visa sponsorship available.

If working fewer than 20 hours per week, provider must carry their own malpractice insurance.

Subspecialty Opportunities
Candidates with fellowship training in glaucoma, cornea, or retina are encouraged to apply. There is significant demand in these subspecialties, allowing for rapid growth of a specialized practice.
Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular diseases and conditions

Perform in-office ophthalmologic procedures

Interpret diagnostic testing including OCT, visual fields, and imaging studies

Develop individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with optometrists and other specialists within the network

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Provide patient education and counseling
Qualifications
-
MD or DO
-
Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
-
Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
-
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-
Fellowship training in glaucoma, cornea, or retina is a plus

Competitive salary range: $250,000–$300,000 annually
