Optometrist Opportunity with a NPO recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center-Look Alike (FQHC-LA) in Allentown PA

This position will be responsible for the care, direction, and progression of patient care in the area of general Optometry in the outpatient setting of VHP. Responsible for offering high quality eye and vision care with thorough examination and comprehensive treatments. Conducts eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation. Diagnoses and treats ocular disease. Prescribes, fits, and adjusts eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids. Directs staff and assists in the development of the overall practice.

Job Qualifications:

  • A network Champion for the underserved with a passion for Optometry
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • A Current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
  • New Grads will be considered
  • J-1 Sponsorship available
  • Bilingual is preferred (Spanish or Arabic, specifically)
