Physician - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
Experienced Radiation Oncologist needed to cover two outpatient clinic locationsSchedule: Monday through Friday, clinic plus call; closed Saturday and Sunday
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM at one location
Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM at second location
Patient population is 100% adult
Primarily outpatient (95%) with occasional inpatient (5%)
Average of 25 patients per day
Required procedures and skills include: 3D radiotherapy, conventional radiotherapy, external radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT), fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)
Responsibilities include ordering tests and images and prescribing treatment
Lab, imaging, and other services available on-site on hospital campus
Documentation systems: Aria for Radiation Oncology and Cerner for hospital
Board Certification in Radiation Oncology required
Active Michigan license required at time of submission
DEA required
Clean malpractice and background required
