Coverage Details

• Coverage Dates: December 28–31, 2026

• Weekday inpatient consultation hours: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Physician must be onsite for all scheduled coverage hours and dates.

• No regular on-call or after-hours callback requirement.

• Trauma Level I facility

• EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities The physician will provide routine daytime, in-house Radiation Oncology coverage, including:

• New patient consultations

• Follow-up visits

• Treatment planning for new patients

• Weekly on-treatment visits (OTVs)

• Inpatient rounding and consultations as requested

• Seeing patients in the office as needed

• Overseeing scheduled radiation treatments

• Remaining onsite while radiation treatments are being administered

• Documenting patient contact hours

After-Hours Expectations

• No formal on-call or callback requirement.

• In rare circumstances, an Emergency Department or Apogee physician may request an emergent consultation for a patient requiring radiation treatment after hours or on a weekend.

• These requests are uncommon and occur approximately once or twice per year.

• No additional routine after-hours coverage is expected.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology

• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC accepted

• Fellowship required

• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
