Job description
Locums Radiation Oncology coverage in Michigan with a predictable weekday clinic schedule across two locations and occasional call. Primarily outpatient practice with on site hospital campus services and a steady daily volume.
Highlights
- Weekday clinic coverage, weekends off
- Two site schedule is already defined by day of week
- Primarily outpatient case mix, occasional inpatient consults
- Ongoing need starting December 2026
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient, approximately 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
- Adult only patient population
- Average volume, 25 patients per day
- No APP coverage, lab and imaging services available on site on the hospital campus
Schedule
- Monday through Friday clinic coverage with occasional call
- Closed Saturday and Sunday
- Macomb location Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Clarkston location Tuesday and Thursday
Cases and Procedures
- External beam radiation including 3D CRT, IGRT, IMRT
- Stereotactic body radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery
- Fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy and conventional radiotherapy
- Order tests and imaging, prescribe treatment
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
- Michigan license required, will not wait for license
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
