Opportunity:
Physician - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
Locum to permanent position with transition to permanent expected within 2-3 monthsClinic shifts are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
Typical daily patient volume includes 12-15 clinic patients per day with some variability
20-25 patients under treatment daily
Department includes 4 exam rooms
Strong physics support team consisting of 2 full-time Physicists and 1 full-time Medical Dosimetrist
Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible considered
Required skills include Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, and Electrons (External Beam Therapy)
Required techniques include Conventional/Conformal Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
Required treatment planning skills include Conventional Treatment Planning, Beam Shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI), and Clinical Trials
Hyper altered fractionation is preferred
