Physician - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
Coverage dates: December 27 through December 31, with 8-hour clinical days and no callShift hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday
See 7-10 patients per day depending on new or follow-up visits, add-ons, and urgent visits
One day per week reserved for On Treatment Visits (OTV)
Patient encounters per shift: 7-12 follow-up and 12-15 active treatment patients
Board certification required with a minimum of certified status
Required skills include Radiation Oncology with proficiency in Brachytherapy (Intracavitary)
External Beam Therapy (EBRT) required including Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, and Electrons
Required techniques include Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
Treatment planning proficiency required in Conventional planning, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI), and Clinical Trials
Facility utilizes EPIC EMR and ARIA RO Treatment EMR in a fully paperless and filmless environment
ABLS and BLS certifications required
Facility is Trauma Level 3 and Pediatrics Level 2
