Job Responsibilities
Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up appointments
Develop and oversee individualized radiation treatment plans
Prescribe radiation treatments and review treatment planning documentation
Coordinate treatment delivery with medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and nursing staff
Monitor patient progress and manage treatment-related concerns
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
Support safe, effective, evidence-based radiation oncology care
Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology
Active North Dakota medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
Experience providing radiation oncology consultations and treatment management
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary radiation oncology team
Willingness to commit to a long-term locum tenens assignment
Working Hours
Schedule: Full-time scheduled clinical hours
Setting: Outpatient radiation oncology clinic
Patient Volume: Approximately 12–15 clinic patients daily, with 20–25 patients under treatment
