A facility in Galesburg, Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) for ongoing locum coverage during select months.
Compensation: $365/hour
**$2500 COMPLETION BONUS**
Schedule & Coverage
Coverage is needed during select weeks in September, October, November, and December 2026. The facility typically needs 1–2 weeks of coverage per month.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Shift: Days
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Patient evaluations and consultations
Simulation and dosimetry treatment planning
Prescribing radiation therapy
External beam treatments
Weekly assessments/OTVs for patients undergoing treatment
Post-treatment follow-ups
Reviewing daily images to verify treatment alignment and accuracy
On-site supervision for compliance
Checking SRS treatments
Treatment visits and follow-up consultations
Qualifications
No active Illinois license? No problem! We are willing to assist qualified providers with obtaining their Illinois medical license.
This is a great opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist looking to add 1–2 weeks of locum coverage per month to their schedule while earning $365/hour.
