Support staff: radiation therapist, medical physicist, oncology RN, dosimetrist
Department Description: hospital based
Patient Volume: 10-18
Patient Age Group: adult-geri
EMR/Documentation System: EPIC with Aria platform
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
new patient consults, follow ups, OTV, imaging review.
Case types include breast, prostate, CNS, head and neck, lung, GI/GU, skin, palliative/emergent, tumor bleed, spinal cord compression, brain metastases, SVC syndrome, GI/GU.
Procedures include CT simulation, 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, Electron beam therapy, SBR
Special Equipment Used:
Requirements:
Provider type (MD/DO or NP/PA): MD/DO
Board Certifications Req’d: BC in rad onc required
Fellowship Req’d: Not required
State License(s) Req’d: No will consider IMLC
Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): BLS
