An established, integrated healthcare system in Central Illinois is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join a growing oncology program. This opportunity offers a high-volume clinical environment, advanced technology, and the ability to play a key role in shaping the future of an expanding cancer service line.
Opportunity Highlights
- Base salary of $600,000
- Sign-on bonus ranging from $50,000–$75,000
- Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- 1:3 call rotation with low call volume
- Opportunity to help build and expand a growing oncology program
- Autonomy with strong system-level support and resources
- Leadership and program development opportunities available
Practice Highlights
- Hospital-based radiation oncology practice with strong referral base
- Daily mix of consults (2–3), follow-ups, and treatment planning
- Advanced technology including TrueBeam and Edge linear accelerators
- Onsite CT simulation and HDR therapy capabilities
- Weekly tumor boards and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong oncology network with access to subspecialty support and clinical trials
- Flexible workflow with ability to tailor schedule to physician preference
