An established, integrated healthcare system in Central Illinois is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join a growing oncology program. This opportunity offers a high-volume clinical environment, advanced technology, and the ability to play a key role in shaping the future of an expanding cancer service line.


Opportunity Highlights

  • Base salary of $600,000
  • Sign-on bonus ranging from $50,000–$75,000
  • Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • 1:3 call rotation with low call volume
  • Opportunity to help build and expand a growing oncology program
  • Autonomy with strong system-level support and resources
  • Leadership and program development opportunities available

Practice Highlights

  • Hospital-based radiation oncology practice with strong referral base
  • Daily mix of consults (2–3), follow-ups, and treatment planning
  • Advanced technology including TrueBeam and Edge linear accelerators
  • Onsite CT simulation and HDR therapy capabilities
  • Weekly tumor boards and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong oncology network with access to subspecialty support and clinical trials
  • Flexible workflow with ability to tailor schedule to physician preference
