📌 Position Summary

MyMichigan Alpena is seeking a Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) to provide temporary locum coverage due to the retirement of a full-time physician. Coverage is needed until a permanent provider is recruited, offering continuity of care in a well-established cancer program.

🩺 Practice Setting

• Clinic & Call coverage
• 99% Outpatient | 1% Inpatient
  • Inpatient responsibilities limited to infrequent consults
• Scope includes:
  • New consults
  • Follow-up visits
  • Weekly on-treatment visits
• 🧠 Weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards required

🗓️ Schedule

• 3 days per week
• ⏰ 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• ✅ Tuesday – Thursday preferred

📞 Call Responsibilities

• Weeknight call only
• Call coverage required on onsite working days
• 🚫 No weekend call

• CT Simulation
• IGRT
• IMRT
• VMAT
• SBRT
• SRS
• HDR

👥 Clinical Support

• 🚫 No APP support

💻 Technology

• EMR: Epic
• Dictation: Dragon

✅ Requirements

• MD or DO in Radiation Oncology
• 🟢 BLS certification
• 📊 Case logs required:
  • Must demonstrate primary or consultative radiation oncology services for at least 25 patients within the past 12 months
