Position Overview:
You will provide comprehensive radiation therapy services to cancer patients in the surrounding area. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals to create personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the latest radiation therapies, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to compassionate care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality radiation oncology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation.
- Collaborate with a team of oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize advanced radiation therapy techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
- Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology, incorporating new techniques and technologies into practice.
- Participate in tumor board meetings and case discussions to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, potential side effects, and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of West Virginia or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in the latest radiation oncology technologies and treatment techniques.
