Job Title: Radiation Oncologist - Locum Tenens
Location: Central Illinois

Overview:
Our client in beautiful Central Illinois is seeking a talented radiation oncologist for locum tenens coverage - 2 weeks per month. As a locum tenens provider, you'll enjoy the following:

  • Pay rate: Starting at $300/hour - negotiable.

  • Malpractice insurance: Paid!

  • Travel and housing: Paid! (If driving to the assignment, you'll be reimbursed mileage to and from the assignment. If you are flying in, airfare will be paid for as well as rental car and hotel).


What you will be doing:
Setting/Schedule/Procedures required

  • 329-bed trauma level II hospital

  • Clinic with some inpatient consultations

  • Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Call schedule: TBD - depending on dates scheduled

  • Support staff: 2 RN, 5 radiation therapists, 1 dosimetrist, 1 physicist, 2 front-desk team member, 1 radiation oncologist

  • EPIC EMR

  • 3D Treatment, IMRT, SBRT/SRS treatments, Simulations, Consults, Follow-ups, OTV's

  • Average 35-50 patients on treatment daily


What you must have:

  • Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology

  • Active Illinois license or current IMLC LOQ

  • Complete all forms required (IMPACT, Pharmacy and Medical history forms)

  • Complete online training modules (approximately 2 hours)

  • Pre-assignment drug screening

  • Executive physical

  • Immunization review
