Located in Elmira, NY – Ithaca 35m; Binghamton 60m
Full-time; Permanent
99% Outpatient
Seeking BC/BE Radiation Oncologist
4-Day Clinical Schedule + 1 Administrative Day
Overview:
* Join an established cancer program serving the region for more than 30 years
* Work alongside fellowship-trained Medical, Radiation and Surgical Oncology physicians
* Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology located within the same clinic
* Approximately 99% outpatient practice
* Monday–Friday schedule with 4 clinical days and 1 administrative day
* Weekend call responsibilities
* Patient population includes breast, prostate and lung cancers, as well as bone metastases
* Multidisciplinary Tumor Board conferences
* Clinical trials available
* State-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator with SBRT capabilities
* Aria Oncology information system with Eclipse treatment planning
* Advanced MIM software for image registration and treatment-planning contouring
* Ability to utilize PET/CT and MRI imaging in treatment planning
* Comprehensive cancer program providing treatment, palliative care and patient support
