Location: Eastern Iowa, the unique city center for arts and culture in the Quad Cities. Opportunity available in other parts of Iowa as well.

Facility: A cancer treatment center offering leading technology with collaborative services for radiation oncology, genetic testing, clinical trials and infusion resources.

Opportunity:
  • Dates of coverage needed: would like someone to be able to cover starting mid-June on a part time basis but most specifically needing the below urgent dates covered
  • July 1-5
  • July 22-25
  • Ongoing on a part time basis
  • The Medical Physicist will participate in patient-specific QA, chart QA, linear accelerator QA, plan checks, and any additional support needed by our radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and therapists.
  • The successful candidate will have the skills in calibration and commissioning of linear accelerators and other radiation sources, perform quality assurance of equipment and treatment plans, and implementing new technologies as needed. A good work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment are highly valued.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
